Merry Christmas!

Last year was Madison's first Christmas...technically, but this year was the first time she was able to enjoy it. When we got up I fed Madison some breakfast. As she was finishing up, my parents and brother were just arriving, and Scott's parents had gotten in late the night before. It was so nice for Madison to be able to have both sets of Grandparents with her on Christmas morning.

Posing with BOTH of her stockings...one from Santa and one from Grandma!

Madison really enjoyed opening her presents this year. For the most part she knew she had to pull the paper off to get to the gift. When she was opening the box above she picked up items of clothing one at a time and threw them over her shoulder as if saying "Ah! More clothes!" She had all of us laughing!

She's not spoiled at all!!

We took a break from opening presents and had some yummy breakfast! I made monkey bread and hashbrown casserole and my mom made an egg casserole.

Back to the presents!

Oh no! Santa left one of his elves at our house last night!

After all the gifts were opened my parents went home and we got ready to meet them later at my Aunt Jan and Uncle Bill's house for Christmas dinner. There were about 40 people there in total. We had a great Christmas!

A quick pic with Scott's parents before dinner.

Madison and Daddy enjoying the fire pit after dinner. It had been about 80 during the day, but had started to cool off considerably as the sun when down. It was so nice to sit around the fire to get warm!

More of Madison by the fire.
