An Early Easter

This past Sunday we celebrated Easter with my parents because they will be in Georgia next weekend. We had spent Saturday night at their house (see previous post), so when we woke up Sunday morning Grandma had "hidden" a basket, present and half a dozen filled eggs. The first thing Madison spotted was her bag of goodies. She went right to it, but it was up on a chair and a little too big and heavy for her to get it down by herself . Madison quickly remembered how to open presents and began taking the clothes out of the bag. We then tried to get her to look for her basket, which was under the dinning room table. She walked around a bit looking and then spotted it, but again she couldn't get it out by herself (see video). Once I cut the bow off she again went to town emptying its contents. She got quite excited to see a duck in there. You can hear her quacking in the video. After she had emptied her basket she used her basket to gather her eggs. It was so fun watching her get into her early Easter!

The first gift she spotted and opened.

Searching for her basket from Grandma and Grandpa.

Posing with her Basket.

Getting into her basket.

"This is FUN!!"

On her first egg hunt. She figured it out really quickly!

She loved searching for her eggs!

"What's in here!?!" We showed her once how to open them and then she opened the rest on her own.

A few more random pics of her with her "loot" from the morning.

I love how she drops the bag of something for the wand thing. She looks so excited by all the easter stuff :)
