Princess Wishes

Madison is still obsessed with everything Princess, especially Princess Ariel. So when I saw that Disney on Ice Princess Wishes was coming to town I had to take Madison.  Last Thursday (9/23) was the big night (it started at 7:30pm)! Scott, Madison, Grandma and I all went.  We got there about an hour before the show so that we could meet a real life Princess. It turned out that there was one princess...Cinderella and she was behind a rope posing.  You couldn't talk to her or anything just take pics with her in the background.  There was also 'memorabilia' of the other princesses in this section, but it was packed! You could hardly walk let alone take pictures with anything.  We managed a few pictures and then roamed around for a while before the show started.
This was as close as we could get to Cinderella.  There were so many other little princesses there!

Of course we had to get some picture with Princess Ariel's stuff.  She is too busy looking at Cinderella to look at the camera!

Daddy, Madison and Grandma.

Mommy, Madison and Daddy.

Madison with all of her princess gear on with Grandma. She wore her Princess shirt, white skirt with pink tutu over it and had her tiara, wand and necklaces...such a cute little princess!!

She was just a little excited!

They had this Ariel that you could have your picture taken with for $14! We were suckers and did it! Madison saw it and there was no getting around it.  They took one pic and then I snuck a couple of my own! The worst part was taking her away from Ariel.  She cried when I made her leave her 'friend.'

Waiting for the show to start. Madison could have sat on one of our laps (Kids under 2 didn't need their own ticket), but I thought it would be more comfortable if she had her own seat.  She sat in her own seat the entire show, never once asking to sit in any of our laps.  We had to rig the seat to work for her, she didn't weigh enough to keep the seat from closing up on her.  So we put my camera case and Grandma's purse behind her, and it worked great!

Just before the show started. We had great seats in the 7th row!

Tinkerbell opened the show...one of Madison's new favorites!

A quick video from the opener. I love how Madison is in such awe that she is frozen in place! She absolutely loved the entire show.  She paid attention the whole time (despite it being past her bedtime), she waived to the characters and clapped at all the right times!

Loving it!!

 A scene from Aladdin.

The seven Dwarfs!

Belle from Beauty and the Beast!

"Be Our Guest!"

The part Madison was waiting for...Princess Ariel.  I love how she points and says Ariel, and then she starts singing. Also she pats her legs and says 'legs' as if to say this is when Ariel has legs! She then points out Flounder too! Sorry it's a bit blurry, I was having a hard time focusing going between the ice and Madison.

Ariel and Flounder.  Halfway through the Ariel section there was an intermission and that whole time Madison kept saying" more Ariel!" Good thing Ariel started up the second Act, or Madison would have been upset!

Madison's favorite part from the movie. If you listen closely you can hear her singing with Ariel the entire time and even after Ariel stops she keeps singing! Towards the end of the video Madison says "Kiss the girl" she really likes that part of the movie too!

The fairy godmothers from Sleeping Beauty.

Cinderella was the last princess of the night!
The finale with all the princesses!

Just after the show ended.  Madison sat like this with her mouth hanging open for a couple of minutes after the show! She loved every minute of it! We had such a great night! Madison had so much fun she didn't want to leave!
