Gifts from Grandma

Saturday morning I got up early (early for me anyway...7:30am!) and finished some last minute packing. The girls got up about 8am and enjoyed a treat of donuts for breakfast. After we all got ready and loaded up the car we were on our way to meet up with Grandma, Aunt Jenna and Chris to head out for our vacation on Sanibel Island (about 20 minutes from my parents and about 45 minutes from our house). Unfortunately as soon as we got on the road it began to rain! Not a good start to our beach vacation. When we got to my parent's house it was still raining but luckily they were all packed and ready to go, so we didn't have to get out of the car. We then convoyed on to Publix to get some groceries for the week. The rain held off to load the car, but when we got to the condo to unload everything the rain started up again!

After some sandwiches for lunch Grandma gave each of the girls a bag full of treats! Some of the goodies included were glow sticks, paint books, monogrammed cups, bubbles, bathing suits and a couple other little treats. The girls LOVED it all!! Thanks, Grandma!! Above...we were teasing Madison that she didn't get a bag, but of course Grandma remembered her!

 After a trip to the pool and a Popsicle the girls did some painting. Madison got a paint with water book the bigger girls got a paint by number picture.

"Painting" Pooh! Madison loves the water paint books, but for some reason they seem to be hard to find.
