Tinker Bell Lights

That's what Madison calls Christmas lights. She came up with it all on her own and if I tell her they are Christmas lights she says, "No Tinker Bell lights!"
We got our Christmas tree this year on December 8th. We set it in the stand overnight and the next night after Madison went to bed I put on the "Tinker Bell" lights. I thought it would be easier to do without her "helping." That night Madison woke up having a nightmare. It really scared me and nothing I did was helping, until I took her into the living room and showed her the lights! She stopped crying quickly when she saw the tree all aglow! The next night we added the ornaments, she really enjoyed that too!

Time for ornaments!

Taking a break to watch Rudolph or as Madison calls it 'Red Nose Reindeer!' Which has become her favorite holiday show and song.

Then she had to take another break to talk to Grandma!

Her special two year old ornament (she will be 2 by Christmas) from Uncle Chris!

Our finished tree!

Madison with Grandma's Christmas tree and Tinker Bell lights. That's a light-up necklace she has around her waist!

A little interview of Madison in front of Grandma's tree.

Checking out Grandma's Tinker Bell lights outside her house!

Wednesday night Madison went out to dinner with Grandma, Papa, Uncle Chris, Tom and Lois at Nino's. Dinner was supper yummy. After dinner Grandma wanted to show us some lights. So Grandma rode with us to take us to see them.  It was definitely worth the detour. There were four homes that were well decorated, but there was one the was spectacular! Madison was in her glory! We stopped our car and got out and took a few pics. They actually had a bench out for people to sit at and take pics! It was only 40 something degrees outside, so we only hung out for a few minutes. But that wasn't enough for Madison. She did not want to leave and cried when I made her get in the car!

All the reindeers were on the roof and Santa, Rudolph was suspended in the air too!

Tinkerbell lights- too cute! Was that really decorated place in Cypress Lake Estates? Looking for somewhere to show lights to girls, but when we went by there last weekend, they were off :( Your tree is beautiful :)

Your tree just beams happiness! I miss the light decorations... CA doesn't seem to have them.
