Daddy Daughter Trip

Scott's Uncle Skip passed away this past weekend. So Scott and Madison made a trip up to Orlando to say goodbye. I had to stay behind and work. I have worked so hard to qualify for FMLA so I can have the full 12 weeks off after Mallorie comes, so there was no way I could call out for two days and loose it all. I worked Sunday and Monday and the viewing was Sunday and funeral was on Monday. Scott and Madison left late Sunday morning. I was awake helping them finish packing and to say goodbye and after that I was hoping to catch a nap, but was having a hard time laying back down. I guess I was missing them! This was the longest I have been without Madison ever! I had a hard time saying goodbye to her when they left.
Scott said Madison did really well on their trip. We put her in a pull-up for the ride there. We were unsure if she could hold it for the 3ish hour trip or if she would be able to hold it if she asked to go potty in the time it would take to find some place to stop. They drive through a bunch of tiny, not to nice little towns. Anyway, Madison stayed dry on the way there and back and never even asked to go potty. Success!

 After the funeral they all went back to Aunt Lois' house for a while and then Scott and Madison went over to Rob and Angie's house to sleep. Here Madison and Lauren enjoy a snack while watching Peter Pan before bed.

Grandma, Madison and Daddy. I don't know if you can see it, but she busted her lip on Sunday at Aunt Lois' house. Scott said she wanted more to eat. He asked her to wait a minute, but apparently she climbed up to get some fruit by herself and fell off the chair and busted open her bottom lip!

Madison was a good girl on their trip. They ended up only staying one night. (They got home late Monday night while I was at work.) They stayed at Scott's cousin Rob's house. They have two little girls, Stacey and Lauren, and I think Madison really enjoyed her time with them as well as with Grandma and Grandad. Thanks for all the treats Grandma!
I was so happy to see them both on Tuesday morning!! Madison gave me some good snuggle time and lots of hugs and kisses!
