Potty training has gone really well! I would say that Madison is successfully daytime potty trained. She had a couple of minor wet accidents the very first week, but hasn't had one since. And she had, I think, two poop accidents in the beginning, but has seemed to have conquered that too. She does have a harder time with going poop though. Usually when she needs to go number 2 she will go to the bathroom several times within a short time frame until she finally goes. It's like she starts to get the urge but won't sit there long enough or goes in there too soon. But at least she doesn't just go in her panties. Speaking of panties, she now wears them throughout the day, including when we are on outings. Conquering the big public potties was a bit hard as well. At home we have a smaller potty seat for her, so when we were out it scared her at first. But while out to eat at Moe's one day she was able to finally use a public potty. She has now used several public potties. She is so good about telling us when she has to go. We don't even need to remind her except we usually have her at least try to go before lying down or going somewhere. She had been wearing a Pull-up for naptime, but had been keeping them dry. So last week we tried naptime in panties and she kept them dry two days in a row, but on the third day she wet the bed. We had been back in pull-ups but the last couple of days we tried panties again (we forgot to change her before naptime) and she was dry. I told her today that if she went peepee before naptime she could keep on her panties and if not she'd have to wear a pull-up. She didn't go so we did a pull-up which was dry when she woke up. Bedtime is always a diaper. It has been dry some mornings, but until she gets her big girl bed I don't think it's really fair to expect her to hold it all night (12 hours plus). I can't hold it that long and her bladder is smaller than mine!
So proud of her potty chart. I had to put another sheet under the first one because she filled up the pee section so quickly. And since her special poopie princess stickers are so big they have made it to the bottom sheet too.
Notice the way she has placed the stickers in lines on the green sheet. She started doing that all on her own and has kept putting them on in lines. So neat and organized. Is she going to be type A like her Mommy??
