Walk on the Beach

After we got unpacked we took the girls for a dip in the pool and then a short walk on the beach. Of course it was a great opportunity to try out the camera with the natural light of the beach! I took over 700 pictures during the week, I couldn't help myself with the awesome outdoor settings! It looked like it was going to storm that evening, but it never did. Actually the weather was great the whole time. A couple of little showers the end of the week, but overall the weather was perfect! It was windy (note the wind in Madison's hair in picture to left) and the water was rough all week. Well rough for the Gulf of Mexico. Usually the Gulf is completely flat and calm, but there was a Hurricane (Alex I think) that was far out in the Gulf that gave our waters some waves.
Madison loved the beach the first night. She got a little concerned once when she got sand on her shoe, but overall liked it. She walked on the beach and got her feet wet. As you will see in future posts her attitude towards the beach changed throughout the week.
